Manchester United Player Ratings vs West Ham United

De Gea’s 90+’ save

Here’s a summary of how Manchester United’s players fared during yesterday evening’s match against West Ham.
1) David De Gea—The goalie made some remarkable saves in the dying minutes of the game. First, he kept away a curling header from Zouma before stopping a screamer from Antony. It is difficult to say which save was the best of the two because all shots had a 90% likelihood of going in. De Gea’s performance earned him an 8.5 score.
2) Diogo Dalot-The full back once again showed his worth, making some decisive headers to deny West Ham any chance of getting a goal. Fair to say, he kept United in the lead for the better part of the last half. (8.5)
3) Luke Shaw: the left fullback exuded calm in his game, and was actively involved in United’s counter attacks.(8)
4) Lisandro Martinez had a good battle with David Moyes’ front men and, as always, made excellent tackles, tackles which have endeared him to many United supporters.(9)
5) Harry Maguire: We’ve seen worse from the skipper. Yesterday’s performance wasn’t among them. The captain showed some qualities that have been missing in him for a long time.(6)
6) Christian Eriksen-was the force behind United’s attack and also assisted on the only goal of the match.(7.5)
7) Casemiro-The Brazilian had a rather quiet game compared to how sharp he has been in recent games. His passes weren’t as good as they’ve been in the past.(6)

Bruno Fernandes– The Portuguese is slowly getting on the fans’ nerves with his erroneous passing and poor field positioning. He made a careless tackle, which will lock him out of the Villa game on Sunday after receiving his fifth yellow card. (6)
Elanga was the poorest in the field. made no contributions at all.(3.5)
Rashford scored a powerful header, which turned out to be the match’s only goal. (8.5)
Ronaldo-Time to retire, maybe?(5.5)
Substitutes
Fred almost made an instant impact after his header hit the post.(6.5)

Scot McTominay– wasteful (5)
